Master or Science in Industrial Technology with a major in Computer Science
I have been an instructor/trainer for approximately 25 years prior to my retirement. I taught at FOCUS HOPE, Orchard Lake College, two different Technical Community colleges and The Boeing Company. Therefore, my training experience is with students of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.
I possess a master’s degree in industrial technology with a major in computer science. My experience includes performing as a trainer/instructor at The Boeing Company. I have designed, developed and delivered curriculum and courses encompassing computer and technical training, industrial technology, management, general management, train-the-trainer’ and ‘Barcoding’ seminars. I trained more than 2,000 employees from various levels of the organization.
Select highlights include having:
- Creating curriculum and conducting classes spanning all aspects of manufacturing systems, modifying classes and materials in response to rapidly changing and evolving systems, and utilizing criterion referenced instruction and performance-based models.
- Developing and delivering courses encompassing MS Office applications, NC programming, Lotus, AutoCAD, Tool Design, and Basic.
- Been recruited by Saint Mary’s College to implement a four-year computer training program to meet the current needs of students going into the technology industry.
- Delivered classes encompassing ISO 9000 auditing to several Perry Johnson suppliers to facilitate their compliance with ISO 9000 standards and regulations.
