I am a certified teacher with a State of Maryland credential to teach English and Special Education, and I have a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the New School for Social Research. I have close to 20 years’ experience teaching students from middle school through college. I have a wide-ranging knowledge of humanities and social science topics, including in depth expertise in world history and political systems, government, and philosophy.
I offer one-on-one, in person and online tutoring. I adapt my approach to each student’s needs and goals. I am patient, listen carefully, and I am supportive.
