Personal Bio: I am 29 years old, and am grateful to have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly my entire life. I have worked with children for the past six years, and I am very thankful for how the children I educate teach me something in return. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, exercising, golfing, and enjoying the wonderful food that this area has to offer.
Empowered Learning Techniques: Students often find themselves frustrated with school because they feel like there is nothing they can do to succeed. This is where Empowered Learning Techniques (ELTs) prove invaluable. I use these techniques to implement the little academic intangibles that make a BIG difference. I educate my students on backpack/binder organization, time management techniques, test-preparation, and goal-setting in a way they find meaningful . Additionally, I show my students how to use these techniques independently. Once students incorporate these ELTs, they have skills that will change the way they think and go about completing schoolwork at all academic levels. ELTs are especially helpful for students who have learning differences and/or need to establish middle or high school readiness. Furthermore, ELTs are invaluable to any student who seeks to improve time management, organization, and/or study skills.
