For years friends and family told me I would make a great teacher because of my passion for certain subjects. In elementary school, math and english came very easy to me and I consistently scored in the top 2% nationwide. My teachers would allow me to tutor classmates during study time. In middle school and high school my passion turned to history, theater, and music where I received several awards and honors, and continued to be called upon to mentor fellow students.
I have two daughters, both in High School now, and it brings me great personal reward to help students comprehend subject matter, build scholastic confidence, and succeed in their education. Learning is a lifelong adventure for me, and I want my students to cultivate the same desire so they too may have successful and fulfilling lives. Never stop learning is my mantra!
