Gabrielle Anderson became a U.S. citizen in 1997; prior to that she had lived and worked in Naples, Italy and travelled with her family throughout Italy.
She has taught primarily French, Italian and English/ESL immersion-programs for the past 21 years. In Dallas she has provided executive training and language services to Verona Marble Company, TH Enterprises, The Center for Translation Studies at the University of Texas, Ameromedia; and taught languages and European studies to numerous private students.
Gabrielle was born in a French-speaking family in Romania where she obtained her BA and initially worked as an English and French teacher and conference interpreter. She has worked for over 16 years in the United States, and 13 years in Italy, Norway, and Romania, primarily as a language & culture expert. Between 1997-2008 she resided temporarily in France, Great Britain, Spain, and Canada (Quebec City) for regional studies.
In recent years she has provided foreign language instruction and testing services to American diplomats through Inlingua Language School (Washington DC) and other agencies where she employed a new “language immersion”-method based on governmental training/ILR testing styles enabling beginner students to speak a foreign language and to comprehend the most complex foreign texts in record time.
