Hi! I have been in the u field for 9 years. For the last 6 years I have been teaching as a certified teacher. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten and first grade. I LOVE teaching and working with children. I am currently tutoring so that I can spend more time at home with my daughter. As a teacher I worked with a wide range of students. I have worked with below level, on level and gifted students. I have also worked with ADHD, ADD and autistic students.
If you are interested in tutoring I specialize in elementary reading, writing and math. I can work with your child to help catch them up to the high standards in schools today or provide chances for your on level child to get ahead. I work with students in my home with daytime, evening and weekend time slots. If you are in need of a tutor to come to your home, I can work with you on a case by case basis. There will be travel fees for any commuting and tutoring hours outside my home are evenings/weekends.
Interested in Kindergarten prep? Working with pre-k and kindergarten students is my passion. Kindergarten has changed dramatically in recent years. The expectations are set higher than ever before. No one want their child to struggle in school. By taking advantage of kindergarten prep I will help prepare your child and give you tools to help your child succeed in kindergarten. If I can work your child into a small group (2-4 students) that will meet their needs, I do offer a lower rate. All group sessions take place in my home.
