I am an avid reader (since childhood) and a former Reading Specialist within MA public schools for over 20 years.
My experince includes providing dirct reading instruction to students who need specific help in reading skills areas and providing reading enrichment for young children in Pre-Kindergarten-Kindergarten who are just beginning their journey in learning to read as well as those children who are reading above grade level expectations and want more challnging texts to read.
I am certified in Reading, Elementary Education and Reading Recovery (an instrctional program for "at risk" first graders).
I have received training in Project Read and Fundations.
