Education
I hold BS in Chemistry from Rutgers University;
MS in Organic Chemistry (with Thesis) from Steven's Institute of Technology;
PhD in Organic Chemistry (with Thesis) from Purdue University
I love learning, and I love teaching. I enjoy helping elementary and high school students overcome difficulties they may have in science (chemistry, biology, physics, math, etc.). I have spent most of my life studying these subjects, and I have BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Chemistry. I have experience in teaching and tutoring, both in the Army, and in private practice. I worked in the chemical industry as a Research Scientist for over 35 years. I tutor in a variety of subjects, including English, Reading, Writing, and Spelling, but specialize in the sciences. I am married, and have children who have gone through many of the same difficulties students have today; tutoring new students is like tutoring my own children all over again.
You'll find me patient, understanding, and truly interested in helping you learn. I tutor one-on-one, and can make learning both fun and enjoyable.
