I am from the Guangdong Province in southern China. I live in California with my American husband.
From an early age in China I learned to speak both Mandarin and Cantonese fluently. They are quite different languages and I am ready to teach them to kids in K-12. I have a young daughter of my own and I love to teach.
I am also available to teach kids how to read and write Chinese characters. Did yo know that in China there are over 100 different spoken dialects, but there is only one written language? I can teach your kids how to read Chinese for everything from labels on packages to magazines, books and documents.
I'm very patient and kind and I will make sure that your kids will learn at a pace that is right for them. I can teach a correct accent for speaking Chinese, but I do have an accent when I speak English.
As a final note, I make learning Chinese fun. After all, Mandarin and Cantonese are not the easiest languages to learn, so making their learning fun is essential.
