I am a certified Special Education Teacher (K-12) who is also certified in Secondary Social Studies (7-12). I have been teaching for nineteen years in the same school district. I teach Special Education Students in a self-contained setting. I have experience tutoring all grade levels K -12. I have also prepared students for the Global History and American History Regents Exams. I believe that all students can learn and I use a variety of learning strategies that are appropriate for each student I tutor. My goal is to help students become independent learners.
