I am a creative writer. I have written one novel and several short stories. I also have experience with poetry and academic essays in both APA and MLA format. I am currently working on a Master's of the Fine Arts where I am learning to write screenplays for film and television as well as scripts for graphic novels and video games. As a tutor, I will teach basic grammar and formatting and help students understand how to edit their own work. I measure success by the decrease in the amount of time a student actually needs my help. It is not teaching if I do all the work. I am a very hands-on instructor and prefer face-to-face meetings where we can go over writing samples in real time. However, I am able to tutor online if necessary.
