Ask me about availability. I work every day except for Sunday. My times vary. I'm busy, but flexible. I try to make times work for you and your student. You guys are important to me.

$90 / hour
Education
- I graduated from a private college prep high school, Monte Vista Christian School, with a 4.2 or 4.3 GPA (I don't remember the exact decimals!)
- I took and passed 5 AP exams (Govt, US History, European History, Calculus AB, and Literature)
- I scored a 1340 on my SAT in high school with no coaching or classes.
- Since then, I applied for a tutoring job several years ago at a test prep center in New York (C2 Education). Without refreshing, studying, or training, I scored a perfect 800 on math and a 750 on the reading/writing.
- I graduated cum laude from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.A. in Communication studies.
- I took a couple seminary classes at Alliance Theological Seminary, but then my daughter was born, and life changed :)
I work with students and their families from a healthy wholistic standpoint. I do not solely focus on grades or coursework, though these things obviously get the bulk of our time.
But I treat each one of my students, no matter how successful they are or how deep in the struggle they are--no matter how motivated or how super unexcited they are--as who they truly are: a precious and awesome child of God.
I invest not just my head knowledge and my coaching skills, but also my heart, in their well being. I pray for them. I am available to them to contact about anything: broken hearts, physical sickness needing prayer, SAT test dates, college planning, trouble at home or in the classroom.
I show my kids that they are valuable and worthy creations of Jesus and that they are far more than their GPA or SAT scores. I work to de-pressurize their academics, showing them that their succes and their destiny are rooted first in their identity as God's creation...not in their performance.
From this place of a healthy view of themselves and their schoolwork, SATs, and College Apps, they can perform without stress and pressure. And their performance soars.
I have had countless students boost their grades in school.
I have had dozens of students boost heir SAT scores, allowing them to get into their desired colleges.
I have had parents profusely thank me for the drastic changes they see in their kids. Higher confidence, vanished depression, solid grasp on their vision for their future, more grit and determination and drive.
I tutor my kids to watch Jesus grab a hold of them and change their lives. I get to watch their practical life come into alignment as their spiritual life gets healthy.
