MA in Education BA in Liberal Studies
I have experience teaching in the classroom. I previously taught alternative education for one year. The past two years I have been teaching 7th and 8th grade English. I also taught ELA Enrichment, which was a remedial English class designed to get below grade level students up to grade level. I received my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. I also have my Master's degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. Before teaching in my own classroom, I substitute taught and worked as a paraprofessional. I was a paraprofessional in self-contained and full inclusion classrooms. I tutor in the following subjects: English, Grammar, Literature, Reading, Vocabulary, and Writing.
