Hi! I graduated in 2018 with a B.S. in Engineering from Olivet Nazarene University. My coursework included Math, Chemistry, and Physics extensively. I have over 6 years of private tutoring experience as well as 2 years of experience as an Academic Coach at my university.
As a tutor I focus on understanding concepts and using that understanding to problem solve. I am a proponent for learning how to learn instead of rote memorization of facts and processes. I enjoy tailoring lessons to each students by learning what is important to them, determine the specific ways that they learn best, and overcoming their weaknesses by playing to their strengths.
