My name is Rebecca Gail Robbins,M.Ed. I was born in Rhode Island, but moved to Boca Raton at age two. I currently tutor the following subjects and areas: SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, GED, COOP (The Catholic School Entrance Exam) and the AP Psychology and English exams. I also teach at the college level, therefore I am considered a writing tutor. I mentor students in English at all levels ,do Press Releases, emergency custom writing, edit APA and MLA research papers, write resumes, and finally, help students from start to finish with boarding school, college, and graduate school applications.
I have an AA from New York University where I studied professional writing and classical literature (1990)
I have a BA from University of Miami where I majored in English and minored in Theatre. While there, I was the president of the honor society for English majors and published my first paper on the recurring theme of "The impossibilites of Mutual Love" comparing three poems by Matthew Arnold. (1994)
I hold an M.Ed. from University of Hartford specializing in teaching high school and college students English and standardized test preparation. (1996)
