Background in math and statistics.  8 years of math tutoring experience from 3rd graders to college students.  2 years of SAT/SHSAT math test prep in private tutoring center. My tutoring technique is to tutor students using pattern/structure recognition  method in solve different types of math problems. Once a student recognize the pattern/structure of the math problem, he/she should be able to apply the right method to solve similar type of problems.  I also teach students using keyword recognition method for word problems.
