First and foremost, a child MUST have a clear understanding of the basic concepts in math. This means, for example, that your child will understand why REGROUPING is needed when adding or subtracting.
Until your child has a clear conceptual understanding of math and the rules involved, he or she will not be able to understand or master the intangible concepts taught in the later years.
